Description

Apricot kernel oil is a cold-pressed vegetable oil extracted from apricot kernels. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A and E, minerals and antioxidants. It is used in cosmetics to nourish and soften the skin, and in cooking for its sweet and fruity taste.

Uses:

For the message

Use apricot kernel oil as a massage oil to nourish the skin.

For the body and face:

It is rich in fatty acids and vitamin A, making it a natural moisturizer for dry, mature skin, apply a few drops to your face as a daily moisturizer.

Add a few drops to your night cream for added anti-aging care, apply to cuticles to soften.

A moisturizing face maskmix a tablespoon of apricot kernel oil with a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of plain yoghurt. Apply to the face and leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

For hair: 

Add to your hair products to nourish dry, damaged hair.

A nourishing hair conditionermix one tablespoon of apricot kernel oil with one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply to damp hair after shampooing and leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing.

Conservation :

Store dry, away from heat and light. Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Precautions for use: 

    •  It is advisable to do a skin test before using it on a large area of the skin, as some people may be allergic.

    •  It is also recommended not to use the oil on open wounds or irritated areas of the skin.

    •  If you use apricot kernel oil for cooking, it is best not to use it at high temperatures, as it can become toxic.
